Specialized from the start
We understand the patterns common to ADHD, OCD, and Anxiety, including Panic, Phobias, and Social Anxiety. That focused knowledge helps us move more quickly toward what is relevant to you.
At Mindful Kinetics, specialized care does not mean rigid or impersonal. We combine focused clinical methods with warmth, collaboration, and practical tools shaped around you.
Mindful Kinetics is a mental health practice based in Portland, Oregon. We’re passionate about helping adults and adolescents navigate ADHD, OCD, Social Anxiety, Panic, and Phobias with warmth, compassion, and real tools that work.
We believe meaningful change becomes possible when people feel understood, supported, and empowered. Our mission is to help neurodivergent and anxious individuals build lives that feel more grounded, focused, and aligned with who they truly are.
We begin with curiosity, not criticism. The patterns bringing you to therapy often developed for understandable reasons. Together, we make sense of what they are doing, identify what is no longer serving you, and build new responses that feel both useful and sustainable.
You’re not alone in this. And you don’t have to face it alone either.
The same diagnosis can look very different from one person to another. Our work is guided by principles that help treatment remain focused without losing sight of the whole person.

Therapy is something we do with you. We clarify what matters, shape goals together, and adjust our plan based on your feedback and what we learn along the way.
Our goal is not to force your brain into someone else’s version of normal. We work to reduce shame, understand your needs, and build supports that fit your actual life.
Feeling accepted and making meaningful change can happen together. We bring warmth to the relationship while helping you practice new ways of responding to difficult thoughts, feelings, and situations.
We draw from established behavioral approaches and adapt them to the person in front of us.
CBT helps us understand how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors reinforce one another. We use that understanding to interrupt unhelpful cycles and build more effective responses.
ACT builds psychological flexibility. Instead of waiting for every difficult thought or feeling to disappear, we practice making room for the experience while moving toward what matters.
ERP helps change cycles of fear, avoidance, and compulsive responding. The work is planned collaboratively and approached gradually, with clarity about both the purpose and the pace.
Therapy is rarely a straight line. This simple framework keeps the work grounded while giving us room to respond to what you need.
We slow things down, clarify what you are experiencing, and map the patterns that keep the problem going. Understanding creates a foundation for purposeful change.
We develop and rehearse new responses in manageable steps. Sessions can include reflection, skill-building, behavioral experiments, and planning for real-life practice.
We learn from what happens outside the therapy room, refine the approach, and strengthen changes that support a more flexible, grounded, and meaningful life.
We revisit goals throughout therapy so the work continues to reflect what matters to you.
