OCD Therapy
Break free from your thoughts & compulsions
You don’t have to keep organizing your life around doubt
OCD can make ordinary moments feel loaded with risk, responsibility, or uncertainty. You may find yourself repeatedly checking, reviewing conversations, seeking reassurance, avoiding triggers, or trying to determine what your thoughts “really mean.” These strategies may bring brief relief, but the doubt often returns stronger.
At Mindful Kinetics, we provide structured, evidence-based therapy for adults and adolescents experiencing obsessive-compulsive disorder. Treatment focuses on helping you respond differently to intrusive thoughts, uncomfortable sensations, and uncertainty so that OCD no longer determines how you spend your time.
What is OCD?
Obsessive-compulsive disorder is more than being organized or particular. OCD involves a cycle of obsessions and compulsions that can increase anxiety and interfere with daily life.
Obsessions are unwanted thoughts, images, urges, sensations, or doubts. Compulsions are behaviors or mental strategies used to reduce distress or gain certainty, such as checking, washing, avoiding, researching, seeking reassurance, or reviewing memories.
The cycle often looks like:
Intrusive thought → Anxiety → Compulsion → Temporary relief → Stronger doubt
Treatment helps you respond differently to intrusive thoughts so that uncertainty no longer controls your choices.

OCD Treatment
At Mindful Kinetics, OCD treatment is structured, collaborative, and active. We use evidence-based approaches including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), CBT, and ACT to help you face uncertainty without relying on compulsions for relief.
Treatment may include identifying visible and mental rituals, building a personalized exposure plan, reducing reassurance-seeking and avoidance, and practicing new responses between sessions.
OCD therapy is not about proving that your fears are impossible, debating every intrusive thought, or providing repeated reassurance. Those strategies may help briefly, but they often strengthen the cycle over time.
Instead, we will help you build confidence in your ability to experience doubt, discomfort, and intrusive thoughts without letting them determine your choices. The goal is not perfect certainty—it is greater freedom to live according to what matters to you.
